Spring will be here before we know it and I can't wait! Bright colors are so in this spring and I am loving it. I love brights and mixing them together!

This weekend I cooked more than usual. My favorite website to get recipes from is skinnytaste.com. Everything is healthier and still so delicious! I made the 'Stuffed Cabbage Casserole' this weekend. I know it doesn't sound very appetizing but it was SO good! I had to share the recipe because it is so different and yummy.

I also made jalapeno and cream cheese filled crescent rolls. So easy!

On Saturday, Winston started making 'Buffalo Chicken Soup' in his crockpot. He let it cook overnight on Saturday and we had it Sunday for lunch. Needless to say, I had a few bowls throughout the day.

Since I am heading down to 'Nawleans' this weekend, I thought it was only appropriate for me to post some cajun recipes and foods. One of the best things about NOLA to me (besides the music), is the food.  I don't think you could combine 2 better things into one...New Orleans and Alabama football. My roommate, Caroline is from New Orleans and is always making us delicious cajun cuisines. I can't wait for her to take us to all the hot spots! Below is a little taste of the weekend ahead of me.

I love New Years because it is a very fun holiday but mainly because of the fun clothes that you get to wear. I love sparkles and glammed up looks for New Years and since I don't wear bold, sparkly clothes very often it gives me an excuse to do so.
